SOFT TURN is the new shut-off ball unit patented by TECO, that implements innovative materials and technical solutions to minimize clogging of the valve and keep the operating torque low.
As prescribed by the UNI 7129-1; 188.8.131.52 a shut off valve must be placed upstream to the device in an accessible place, as a fundamental requirement for usability and safety in case of danger. The K series has been designed to guarantee the maximum of accessibility to the end user.
TOP ENTRY is the building technology of TECO valves that allows performing full maintenance of the ball and seals, of already installed valves.
For over 25 years, this system allows developing ideal products for ducted installation made at state-of-the-art. Thanks to TECO CONTROL spare part kit, we always ensure compatibility of current valves with those installed 25 years ago.
For sanitary installations, European standard EN-806 requires the use of devices that do not obstruct the water flow. TECO ball valves have been designed full bore and comply with said requirement. The ball technology is definitely superior in terms of capacity and pressure drops compared to stem valves commonly available on the market. It is proven that full bore ball valves have a pressure drop 4-times lower than stem valves. Another advantage consists in the possibility to completely turn the ball, with just one quarter turn (90°).
All valves in the K4 and K2.1 series can be connected to each other for secure and accurate alignment.
